Drago (más conocido como "Tito" Drago) se inició en 1940 en Centro Iqueño, luego paso al Deportivo Municipal, también de Perú, donde militó casi toda su carrera.
Sólo en dos oportunidades se fue de su país, la primera en 1946, cuando paso fugazmente por Racing y después por Independiente de Medellín de Colombia.
Se retiró del fútbol profesional en 1965 en Municipal, donde es ídolo. Y en 1981 creó una academia de fútbol con su nombre, en la cual forma nuevos valores para el fútbol de su país.
Con la Selección peruana, “Tito” Drago jugo por primera vez en 1949 y desde 1953 hasta 1956 estuvo siempre presente en la blanquirroja.
